Use the assistant
Ask about your gym in plain words — who is expiring, what you collected, how many members are active — and get the answer from your own data. It can also prepare a change for you, like recording a payment, but nothing is saved until you confirm it.
You can also ask it how to do something in GymLedger — "How do I freeze a membership?" — and it answers from these guides.
Ask a question
Tap Assistant in the sidebar.
Type your question in the box at the bottom and tap Ask. Or tap one of the suggestions.
While it works, it shows what it is doing — Checking renewals, Adding up your takings. The answer then appears as it is written.
Ask a follow-up in the same box. It remembers the conversation.
Let it make a change
Ask for it in words: "Record ₹1000 cash from Neha for locker rent."
A card appears marked Needs your confirmation, listing exactly what will be saved — member, amount, date, method.
Check it. Tap Confirm to save it, or Cancel to drop it.
It can record a payment, add a member, extend a membership and create a plan.
Your past conversations
The list on the left keeps your conversations for 90 days. Tap one to open it.
New chat starts a fresh conversation.
The ✕ beside a conversation deletes it.
Good to know
Nothing changes until you tap Confirm. Not even when the change looks obvious.
Two members with the same name? The assistant asks which one you mean, and the card shows the member's phone number under their name, so you can check it is the right person.
A reopened conversation never offers Confirm again. It says a change was prepared there — it may already have been saved. Ask again if you still need it.
Check anything important. The answers come from your data, but they are written by an AI.
There is a monthly limit — 200 questions on the trial. A note appears when you are close.
Staff see only what their permissions allow. A trainer asking the same question can get a different answer from you.
When it doesn't work
"Something went wrong." Ask again. If it keeps happening, reload the page.
It can't find a member. Use the name as it is saved in Members.
The Ask box is gone. You have used this month's questions. They come back on the 1st.
