See how much you earned
The Payments screen totals whatever you are currently looking at. Change the period and every number on the screen changes with it.
Steps
Go to Payments. It opens on This Month.
Pick the period you want from the dropdown — Last Month, This Year, Custom Range and the rest are all there.
Read the strip at the bottom of the list:
how many transactions are in view,
Collected: ₹… — the money that actually came in,
Pending: ₹… — only shown if there is any.
Read the chips above the list for the split by Cash, UPI, Card, Bank Transfer and Other. A method with nothing against it is left out.
Tap Export to download the list as a spreadsheet.
Good to know
Every number obeys the filter, including the search box. Search a member's name and the totals become that member's totals for that period. This is useful on purpose — but it also means a forgotten search term makes your monthly figure look wrong.
Collected counts only Completed payments. Pending and Failed are excluded. That is why Collected can be lower than the sum of the amounts you can see on screen.
The method chips also count Completed only, so the chips add up to Collected, not to the full list.
This is money in, not profit. Expenses live on their own screen and are not subtracted here.
The date used is the payment date you entered, not the day you typed it in. Backdate a payment and it counts in that earlier month.
The export contains exactly what is filtered, in the same order — date, member, amount, method, description, notes and status, one row each. The file is named for the current month.
"This Week" starts on Sunday.
"Last 3 Months" means this month plus the two before it, counted from the 1st, not the last 90 days. Same idea for Last 6 Months.
The dashboard's headline figures are worked out separately from this screen. If they disagree, trust this one — it is the actual list of payments, and you can see every row that makes it up.

When it doesn't work
The total is ₹0 but you know money came in. Two usual causes. Either the period is wrong — the screen opens on This Month, so on the 1st it is nearly empty — or your payments are marked Pending rather than Completed, in which case they show under Pending and not under Collected.
The total is lower than what you counted in the drawer. Look at the Pending figure beside it. Money recorded as pending is deliberately not counted as collected.
A month's total changed after you thought it was final. Someone edited a payment's date or amount, or deleted one. Payments can be changed at any time and nothing is locked.
The cash chip doesn't match your cash box. The chips split by the method you chose when recording. A UPI payment recorded as Cash lands in the wrong chip and no total will catch it — the fix is on the payment itself.
The Export button is faded. There is nothing in the current view to export. Widen the period.
The exported file opens with the columns mangled. Open it through your spreadsheet's Import option and choose comma as the separator, rather than double-clicking the file.
