How-To Guides

Step-by-step walkthroughs

How to do every task in GymLedger — for gym owners, staff and members.

Gym owners

Set up your add-ons

An add-on is anything you sell on top of a membership — a PT package, a locker, a towel service, a diet plan. The Add-ons page is your price list for them: "1 month PT — 8 sessions, ₹3,000", "Locker — monthly, ₹300". You set each one up once, then pick it whenever you sell it to a member.

Steps

  1. In the sidebar, tap Add-ons.

  2. Tap New add-on.

  3. Fill in:

    • Type — Personal training, Locker or Other.

    • Name — what you call it, like 1 month PT — 8 sessions.

    • Sessions — PT only: how many sessions it buys.

    • Valid for (days) — how long it lasts, like 30. A locker or other add-on needs it; a PT package needs sessions, days, or both.

    • Price (₹) — what the member pays.

    • Pause it when the membership is frozen — on for PT by default, off for lockers.

    • Notes — optional.

  4. Tap Create add-on.

It appears in the list. Use the pencil to change it, or the ✕ to delete it.

Good to know

  • An add-on on this page is a price list entry, nothing more. Creating one does not give anybody anything and does not charge anybody. That happens when you sell it from a member's page — see Sell a PT package and track it.

  • PT can run out two ways. With both Sessions and Valid for set, it ends when the sessions are used up or the days run out, whichever comes first.

  • It does not name a trainer. You pick the trainer when you sell it, so the same PT package works for every trainer in your gym.

  • Editing it does not change what you already sold. The sessions, days and price are copied onto the member's add-on at the moment of sale.

  • Deleting it takes nothing away from anyone. Members who hold it keep it. Deleting cannot be undone.

When it doesn't work

The form won't submit. Name and Price are required — your browser highlights the empty box. A message appears if the days are missing: "Give it a validity in days." (or, for PT, a number of sessions, a validity in days, or both).

You changed a price and a member's add-on still shows the old amount. That is correct. The price was copied onto the member's payment when you sold it. To correct an amount actually charged, fix that payment on the Payments page.
