How-To Guides

Step-by-step walkthroughs

How to do every task in GymLedger — for gym owners, staff and members.

Track your PT sessions and add-ons

Your personal training sessions, how much of your PT package is left, and anything else your gym has sold you on top of your membership, such as a locker.

Steps

  1. Tap Sessions at the bottom. The page is called Sessions & add-ons.

  2. My add-ons at the top has a card for each one that is still running. A PT card shows your trainer's name, N / M sessions left, a progress bar, and when it ends. A locker card shows the locker number and when it ends.

  3. Below that, a chip tells you how many sessions you completed in the month you are looking at.

  4. Each row in the list is one session — the date, a status badge, your trainer's name, how long it ran, and any note your trainer added.

  5. Use the month box at the top right to look at another month.

Good to know

  • A session uses up one from your package when it is recorded as Completed. That is either when your trainer logs it as done, or when a booked (Scheduled) session is marked complete. Until then your count does not move.

  • Cancelled sessions never use up a session.

  • If your gym renewed your PT before the old pack was finished, the old pack is used first. You may see two PT cards for a while; the new one starts counting when the old one is done.

  • An add-on disappears from My add-ons once it ends, or once every session in it is used. The sessions themselves stay in the list.

  • If your membership is frozen, your PT package pauses with it: the card stays on the page and its end date moves forward when your gym unfreezes you. A locker keeps running unless your gym set it to pause too.

  • The month box only filters the list. The cards at the top always show where you are now.

  • Nothing on this page can be changed from your side. It is a view of what your trainer and your gym have recorded.

When it doesn't work

  • The page is empty and you do have a trainer. Having a trainer assigned is not the same as having a PT package. Packages are bought separately — check with your gym.

  • "No sessions in <month>." You are looking at a month with nothing in it. Move the month box back.

  • Sessions show as Completed but your remaining count has not moved. They were recorded without your package attached — for example as a trial. Show your gym this list; they can correct it.

  • Your remaining count looks one too low. A session recorded as Completed that did not happen, or that got entered twice. Only your gym can fix it.

  • The trainer's name is blank. The session was recorded without a trainer attached. Harmless, but worth flagging at the desk if it happens on every session.
