See who came to the gym
Member Check-Ins is the record of who turned up and when — everyone who scanned the QR code, plus anything you logged by hand.
Steps
In the sidebar, open Sessions → Member Check-Ins.
It opens on today in Day List view. Use ‹ and › to move a day at a time, or tap the date to pick one from a calendar.
Switch to Calendar to see a whole month at once and spot quiet days. Tap a day to see who came.
Logging a check-in by hand
Someone forgot to scan, or your phone was dead. Add it yourself:
Tap + Log Check-in.
Pick the Member.
Set Clock In — date and time together.
Clock Out and Notes are optional.
Tap Log Check-in.
Use the edit and delete controls on a card to fix or remove one afterwards.
Good to know
Today's list updates itself every half a minute while you have it open, so you can leave it up at the desk and watch people arrive.
A chip above the list counts the day — "14 members checked in".
A live chip shows who is still inside — "6 in gym now", or "All checked out" once everybody has left. It is always on — there is nothing to switch on. A member checks out by scanning the code again as they leave; anyone who forgets is checked out automatically after two hours, which you can change in Settings → Attendance → Auto-checkout after.
You cannot look at a future date. The › arrow stops at today, and the date picker will not go past it.
Editing a check-in cannot change who it belongs to. The member box is locked once saved. If you logged it against the wrong person, delete it and log a new one.
This is not the same as PT sessions. A check-in is someone walking in the door. A PT session is a trainer taking them. Neither creates the other — a member who has a session logged has not necessarily checked in, and a member who checks in has not had a session.
When it doesn't work
Today shows no check-ins even though people came. Either nobody scanned, or they scanned the Staff Clock-In QR by mistake — staff clock-ins go to Staff Attendance, not here. Check both codes are labelled clearly at the door.
Everyone shows as still in the gym. Nobody is tapping check-out. The app closes visits automatically after your default session length, so they will clear on their own — check Settings if two hours is too long or too short for your gym.
There is no "in gym now" chip. It only shows on today, never on a past date, and only once someone has checked in today.
A member appears twice on the same day. QR scanning cannot do this — it allows one per member per day. A duplicate means one of them was logged by hand. Delete the extra.
